The Village Performing Company is an educational source for
dancers to build technique, performance and creativity.
It also is a place to grow both as a dancer and a person.
Dancers are challenged to always strive for their best and
the company exemplifies their hard work and dedication.
The technical requirements for each group and the policies are listed below.
Requirements and CommitmentDancers must be enrolled in at least one technique class for the 2009-2010 season at the Village Dance Studio. Class requirements are as follows… Junior Company (3rd - 7th grade)Dancers in the junior companies must be enrolled in either Ballet or Jazz & Tap. All dancers in 6th & 7th grade should be taking ballet technique in addition to their jazz technique class.Senior Company (7th – 12th grade)Dancers in the Senior Company must be enrolled in both Ballet and Jazz and at least one semester of Dance Conditioning.Advanced Company (high school)Dancers in the ADP Company must be enrolled in the Advanced Dancer’s Program taking ballet, jazz and dance conditioning. * Dancers must enroll in the Performing Company Class.

The Village Performing Company will be holding auditions for the 2009-2010 Dance Season for all companies during the weeks of May 18, 2009 and June 1st, 2009.
Specific dates, times and age groups will be posted on our web site and in the studio in April. ALL current company members MUST audition and ALL dancers MUST fill out a simple form to sign up to audition. Sign up forms are available in the office or can be emailed to you directly. Forms must be completed and turned into the office
