Try something new and creative this summer at The Village Dance Studio!
Children’s Summer Camps in dance , movement, and art will begin June 6, 2011. 

Camps run Monday—Thursday and meet from 9am-12pm.

The Workshop Series offers 3 different 3 hour workshops meeting

Tuesday—Thursday. 
The beginning and intermediate levels are open to ages 10-15 and
the advanced series is open for ages 14-18.

Dance Workshop Series

Dance Workshops are short term
intensive classes offered for
dancers age 10-18. 
Each workshop class will run for 3 hours for 3 days and will cover a different focus within the series according to the schedule below.  

Hip Hop Style
Learn true Hip Hop Style, complete with Choreography by Deandra Clarke

Ballet Boot Camp
Get back into the groove with this classical ballet and dance conditioning class.

Monday-Thursday (5-7pm)

Summer Camps

Our Summer Camp Series is filled with fun activities, crafts, dancing, games, and performances.  Each week has a different theme and movement syllabus for ages 3 to 10.  Camps run Monday—Thursday from 9am-12noon.

Ballerina Princesses
Dancers will twirl and spin to classical ballet music, make their own
magic wands and dance in the magical world of fairy tales and princesses. 
June 6 - 9, 2011—(ages 5-7)
July 11 - 14,  2011—(ages 4-6)
August 1 - 4,   2011 - (ages 3-5)

Action Tales
Dancers ages 3-5 will jump out of the pages of a book as lions, princesses or monkeys.  Each day is themed around a different book and dancers will explore it’s theme through movement, art and games.
June 6 - 9,  2011 - (ages 3-5)
July 11 - 14, 2011—(ages 3-5)

Sports Bugs

Jump, Leap and Run into this class of high energy
movement, games and activities. 
The focus of this camp is on coordination and strength.
July 18 - 21, 2011—(ages 4-6)
August 8 - 11, 2011—(ages 4-6)

Dancing Around the World

Take a journey with us and discover a different country and
their styles of movement.  Learn a different dance and
create a special art project each day from all over the world.
July 18 - 21, 2011—(ages 3-5)
August 8 - 11, 2011—(ages 3-5)

On The Stage

Dancers from the Village Performing Company will be performing with the campers during this week of fun filled performing activities.  Learn a new dance, practice putting on make-up and dancing in costumes.   
July 18 - 21, 2011—(ages 6-8)
August 1 - 4, 2011—(ages 6-9)

Create Your Own Pilates

Strengthen and tone your muscles in this classic Pilates Mat class taught by trainer Pam England. Create the class to fit your needs. Simply find a group of friends and create your own class. Choose your level, class size, length of session and time of day. Call for pricing.

The Village Dance Studios is proud to host many community artists and teachers.  Through them we can offer short term classes in Pilates, Yoga, Pitaiyo and Modern Dance.

Pilates Fitness offers Mat Classes at the
Village Dance Studio

This Fall Pilates Fitness will offer a 12 Week Group Mat Class at The Village Dance Studio. Starting Date: September 16th. Class Time: 9:30am Wednesdays. Cost for session $150.00. Class is 45 mins in length with time after class for individual help. To reserve please call the Pilates Fitness studio at 355-5010.
