To benefit the most from the Village Dance Studio program
we suggest the following curriculum:

Younger Dancers:
Creative Movement (Ages 3-4)
Pre-Ballet (Ages 4-5)
Ballet & Tap (Ages 5-6) or Tap Groove
Dance Medley (6-8yrs) or Dance Trio

Older Dancers:
Jazz & Tap I (7-9) and/or Beg. Ballet level 1 (7-9)
Jazz & Tap IIa or Jazz & Tap II (8-11) and/or Beg. Ballet level 2 (9-10)
Jazz & Tap III (10-12) and/or Beg. Ballet level 3 (10-13)
Jazz & Tap IV (11-14) and/or Intermediate Ballet level 1 (11-14)
Jazz V and/or Modern and Intermediate Ballet 2 and 3 (13 & up)
Jazz VI and/or Modern and Advanced Ballet level 1 and 2 (high school)
*Advanced Dancer’s Program

*Dancer’s are selected to participate in this program from the Advanced Jazz & Ballet classes.

Class Attire 

CM, Pre-Ballet ~  Columbia Blue Leotard, Pink Tights and Pink Ballet Shoes
Ballet/Tap ~  Black Leotard, Pink Tights, Pink Ballet Shoes & Black Tap Shoes
Dance Medley ~  Solid Color Leotard, Black Dance Pants or leggings, Black Jazz and Tap Shoes
Classical Ballet (All Levels) and Pointe ~  Black Leotard, Pink Tights and Pink Ballet Shoes
Jazz/Tap ( All Levels) and Modern ~  Solid Color Leotard, Black Dance Pants or leggings, Black Jazz and Tap Shoes (no shoes modern)
VPCO ~  Black Leotard, Black Dance Pants, Black Jazz Shoes

 (Absolutely no shirts!  Dance Sweaters only.)

All dancers should have a dance bag for all of their belongings and
please write names on shoes before class.
